Was wondering if anyone has a hitch bed extender laying around they would want to sell? It’s the extension that has a cross beam so you can load your kayak(s) in the bed of your truck and then tie them down to the cross bar for secure transport. Thank you.

al8995, I appreciate the heads up. I know I can order them online, that one you pasted a link for has shipping that is as much as the item itself. I was really hoping someone local had one they don’t use anymore but if I don’t hear from someone in the next week or so, I’ll just order one online or run up to Northern Tool and buy a new one. Thanks for the response! Also, I’d be interested to see how you have your fish finder set up on your Malibu, I also have a Stealth 12

I can take pics of the fish finder setup if you want. It was pretty easy. I had to buy some bolts to screw in the transducer under the kayak but I’ll look and see if I have the package so you can find the right size. Also used bolts and washers to mount the ff. I just anti siezed the bolts and screwed in the transducer and ran the cable up through the closest scupper plug then drilled a one inch hole and ran the cables through the hull and made a hole behind the cup holder and ran them up to the ff. I used a cable plug sealer for the rear hole and used silicone for the hole that is under the fishfinder. Make sure to use stainless steel bolts and washers. I have a plastic box I use under the hatch to hold my 12v sealed battery.
