Well first off I am new to the kayak fishing world but with the conditions Charleston gives for fishing I am finally jumping in. I was lately looking at the Hobie angler series kayaks and was hoping some locals could give some first hand experience input on the quality and comfort fishing in one.
For reference I am interested in inshore AND nearshore off of folly and IOP. I am a bigger guy at 6 4 270 if helps in recommendations of size I should be considering.
Pro Angler? I would go with the 14…more capacity and stability. I enjoyed fishing from one - I downsized to a Outback this year, but I miss the PA on those occasions when I really want to stretch out.

I was able to demo the PA 14 at the kayak festival this year. It was by far the most stable kayak I had paddled, or rather peddled. I am biased towards the malibu kayaks myself but see myself in a Pro Angler in the near future.
I got a fishing pole for my wife…Greatest trade i ever made.
Thank you for input! Great sig btw yard haha
