Day two results are in. Justin is currently in 5th place but leads all international anglers. Four Aussies hold the top spots. Justin still has the best single day bag. It’s not going to be easy to best the Aussies at there own game but if anyone can do it, Justin can. Good luck on day 3.

Hopefully he’ll rally back on the 3rd day…Good luck Justin!

Would those be Kayak Power Poles on those Hobie’s?

I can explain it to you, but I can’t understand it for you!

It looks like most of the anglers have checked in for the final weigh in. Gale force winds shortened the day by two hours. Justin is in 7th and should hold that spot unless someone brings in a big bag. That’s an impressive feat to finish in the top 10, fishing for a species you’ve never even seen before against other world-class anglers that are on those waters everyday. Congrats on a job very well done.

If two wrongs don’t make a right, try three.

Justin finished 7th - highest placing angler from the USA. Congrats!

It?s great to have a world class Kayak angler right here among us!!

Can?t wait to hear all the fish stories from down under

Capt Dave

Thanks for all of the support and for following along with our progress. I ended up placing 7th as you all already know but I also was the highest placing international angler, won big fish on day one, and had the highest 1 day bag of the tournament. Even though winning would have been tremendous I am very pleased with my effort and that of the whole US Team. I have many more stories and pictures to share but I won’t be able to do much until I get back to the states. I still have a few days before I head home but just for a teaser there was a 43.5" barramundi landed during our trip today in Queensland.

Congratulations! Man, what a way to represent the U.S. and SC. Can’t wait to see some pics.
