We’ve finished the rebuild on our inboard engine. Took it out in pieces, now it’s time to get it back in.
Anyone know of a company or service to lift an inboard engine with transmission back into my boat. 350 eng and velvet drive trans, about 1100lbs.

I use a bobcat with forks and chainfall, quick and easy!
a wrecker will work, most guys are roll backs nowadays, but if you call around, you can find one with a boom lift
Saw a guy yeaterday in a pickup with an engine lift bolted in the bed! If you could rig one thet could work well! I think he was in the scrap busness.
Maybe check SunBelt Rental? I used a smaller one I rented from them for my outboard. Perfect and inexpensive

Autozone rents tools, not sure if they rent an engine hoist.
