Decided to try and see if I could catch some finger mullet for the freezer and both my youngens said “Dad can we come?” I said come along youngens because 2 cast nets are way better than one. Wifus was glad to see us leave as I thought I heard the dead bolt lock behind us. Started letting these girls sling the net and I quickly realized that it is still a bit early because the size was not what I am looking for. No worries because a few shrimp got caught and we went looking for a productive bank to fish from. Got to our spot and two other men were already set up but after observing their line location I was glad to see they were not in productive territory. Call my bluff when I say it but my girls got set up and I pointed where to cast…1 Mississippi 2 Mississippi, fish on!!! Right in front of these grown walking the walk and talking the talk men the clinic began #128514;. Despite the light drizzle and the 2 sets of glaring eyes these girls found trout and weren’t scared to repeat the process. Had fun and making memories with them which made my day.
