Ditto Like Stretch…for PeaPod…and it sucks
I should have known better…first stop the first 3 casts were re-ties due to being wrapped around a piling…finally got a bait in the water and got a nice upper slot…few more re-ties and nada.
On to spot two…got swamped by a 600 foot sportfisher going 85 knots, (**() near ran into the Deweese Ferry because it looked like it was going away from me but it was actually coming at me (rain and 23 knot wind is my excuse)…got swamped by another jet powered sportfisher…stopped, cleaned off my glasses and still hit bottom twice at 30 knots whilst trying to get into spot two…
ON the fish…nothing would bite, powerpole pulled loose and we were instantly blown onto the flat…push, pull, push, pull, pole, push, pole…*&^k it…cranked the big boy and slung mud for 300 yards.
On to spots 3, 4 and 5…spot 5 there were reds working the oysters for 400 yards…(yeah PeaPod, that spot)…my anglers were somewhat challenged with casting into the 23 knot wind and then we came home…NO charge fellows, I was a dumb **** for bringing you guys out here to start with.
