I have a 1997 Honda 35hp tiller outboard. It idles fine,in neutral it revs to correct RPM’s and the tiller does turn the throttle linkage to max. The issue is that when you put into gear it doesnt seem to produce the maximum RPM’s. It seems very sluggish. What could be the issue or issues? Thanks

I have a 1997 BF50, first rebuild the Carbs. Runs good until it have to make some power is because the very small jets get clogged. I drain my carbs when I flush it, I also flush it in a plastic drum. Couldn’t get the water intakes sealed good enough with tape(like they recommend.)I have hoses setup that connect to the bottom of the float bowls and come out next to the ‘pee’ line.
