Honest People

Went fishing Saturday up the Wando. It was a horrible feeling when I realized my cooler bag that contained my wallet and cell phone blew out of the boat somewhere between Shem Creek and Horlbeck. After searching for some time, I fiqured it was either at the bottom or someone had a little extra beer money. What a surprise when I received a phone call Sunday morning from a fine family who picked my bag up near the Yorktown. I wanted to thank Shannon, Lori and family from Daniel Island! I am sure most of you at some point has lost some valuables and know how hopeless that feels! Thank you for returning my items to me! You all you are a great examples for us boaters to follow! Thanks you so much for being honest! Glad to know you are out there!

Thanks! You restored my hope for the world a little bit

There are still honest people in the world, just fewer and farther between them. Good on them for doing the right thing.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.
