Fished with my brother, B Shaw and B Adams. First fish of the day was a 30ish# hoo caught on planer rod with the same blk-blu-silver w’ dinkbhoo they so ravish.
. North of Edisto Banks til 10am then headed towards 380f hole. In 600’ we hooked up with what we thought was going to be Granddaddy hoo…not so much. Water temp at 30f curve was 69 At 600’ was 71.3 and near 380/266 was 75.8. Such ideal conditions. Blue was caught on port short rigger, pulling a blu-wht Islander Chain with a select bhoo. On 30 VSW. ( the mono was unraveling/fraying. 120’ or an from leader. Second time I have had moi-moi xo that)
very nice, what else did you catch? I’m off a lot of fridays now, can’t seem to get a call now that your lovely wife can’t fish, I may have to call her to get a ride! you have had a stellar yr already.
