Hope Town 3/11

Carolinaboy and I decided to make a trip down to the abacos for our spring break to fish with a family friend, Robert Lowe.We arrived on Monday with no expectations, not evening knowing if we were going to be able to fish because of the Bahama Breeze. Well we gambled this morning and left the dock at 8 am. To make a long story short. we went 12/15 on the wahoo’s. 3/6 on the dolphins and caught a small but tasty Blackfin. However our day was not as lucky as it sounds. We lost 2 monster hoos as well as a 50 plus pound dolphin. We will be at it again tomorrow and thursday as long as the weather coperates. Might try and go after the tunas and whatever else bites tomorrow while chunking.

Nice work! Send some pics!!!

Not going to be as detailed as fast, but we did fish the next two days caught a few dolphin and wahoo. Nothing too exciting, but you cant beat being in the islands. We will try to post some pics when we get back in the states.

Hopetown is an awesome place. Congrats!

Good report, Schuyler.
Are you planning to bring all that wahoo back to Carolina or are you just going to feed it to all of Elbow Cay?

Don’t forget to go see the Conchman for some spicy conch salad!

Try chunking off Cherokee Pt in the evening.

The only difference between men and boys is the cost of their toys.

we were gonna chunk but the wind and current were too strong and from the wrong direction.
