… Because I went 0 for 10 on Redfish tonight, saw 8 tailers and 2 cruisers, at least that’s what I threw at, saw a few others … Oh well better luck next time, some real spooky fish tonight …

I had basically the same luck. Broke a decent red off on the hook set after literally being on the flat for 10 seconds. He broke the knot at my tippet/leader connection. Then proceeded to spook several others by getting the fly too close to them. Had 2 that put the tail of the fly in their mouth then spit it and spooked. (watched this happen)
I saw tons of fish in the 20 minutes I was able to stay out there before the lightning rolled in. It was looking like it was going to be an epic night then the bottom dropped out
at least you were on a flat lookin at fish instead of in a Database class where the instructor was speaking greek and making no sense…

throwing gear at tailing redfish… I would be ashamed to have my grill in the photo, let alone have the temerity to post it on a flyfishing board

ouch, haha, I posted it on the flyfishing board because I did indeed fish with my fly rod, sorry I hurt peoples feelings next time I will use procure on my flies maybe that will make it better
