On Tuesday we fished straight out and started at the ledge and worked offshore. The weatherman missed the forecast big time. Instead of variable 10 knots or less, it stayed out of the NE at 15-20 all day. Needless to say, it was ugly out there. On top of that, the fishing was slow. We caught 4 nice dolphins and a barracuda. The wind laid down for the last 5 miles of the ride home.
On Wednesday, the ocean was flat. We fished down around the 500 line and caught a dozen dolphins and missed a blue marlin that came up on the flat line. It looks like Saturday and Sunday will be the next fishing days. Gale force winds are predicted on Monday.
