Horizontal rod holders??

Is anyone aware of a rod holder that will slide into a vertical funnel mounted rod holder and convert it to a horizontal rod holder like those used for live bait fishing for stripers?

Scotty makes a post for the angled holders, but the Scotty rod holder is adjustable so you could possibly get by with that setup. Just put them in at an angle and the adjust the holder where you want it.

Raymond Martin in Hardeeville can build you any kind of rod holder that you want. Martin Marine Design 843-784-6110.

He made these for me, to fit into my outrigger bases, replacing the outriggers with adjustable rod holders. They don’t go completely horizontal but pretty close. If you can draw a picture of what you want, he can make it :sunglasses:

I have 4 of these. I have used them for live bait striper fishing and crappie fishing.
