Anyone ever fish this area? Whats the fishing like in this area? What can I expect to catch?

it’s between walterboro and jacksonboro, comes from the ashepoo i believe. fished there late in the spring. caught a few shellcrackers and redbreast using worms.
I used to fish this area alot. Depends on what your going for. Bream are good pitching crickets. Catfish never had much luck with the big ones. Bass are fair with Texas rigged worms or floating worms and I have decent luck fishing with rebels. I fish mostly towards Ashepoo and Ivanhoe. I have occasionaly went down Ashepoo and caught some nice redfish while bass fishing some of the deep banks.
Upriver in Ivanhoe past the trailers near 17 bridge, is decent bream and bass fishing. Cuplrit Crawdads and white floating worms have always been my goto baits there for bass.

What he said… Haven’t had as much luck with red breast lately, but have caught some spot tail up further than I would have thought.
