4-13 just north of the Outcrop. Total: 6 wahoo (one in the 60 pound range), 2 blackfins, one gaffer dolphin. Stayed overnight Friday, up at 600am on the ledge. Lost a leviathan wahoo at the boat after 20 minutes on the wire line (Austin Harley stayed bowed up the whole time). Boated couple more wahoo in the 35lb range. Sailflow got this one wrong Saturday am. Going to be doing more overnights, Lord willing, with these fuel prices.
Sweet, congrats nice trip!
nice job
year in and year out the outcrop area has produced more fish for me than any where else.
good job…
Now that is a 60 pound wahoo!..Congrats Louie, Sat. am had to be a tough fish
nice work Dr. Costa… always getting some nice hoos
as you would expect, most of the wahoo were caught on black and red iland lure down on a planer. Suprisingly however, two of the wahoo were caught with a cedar plug on the way back.
Any nighttime fishing out there? Thanks for pics and story
Night Sword fishing historicall has been productive for a lot of folks but we did not. Bottom fishing season and specie parameters so irratic we quit trying,
