Hey I just picked up a jonboat and while I was getting it ready for fishing today I noticed how hot the bow got. I could fry eggs on that thing. What do yall use to minimize the heat. I’ve been looking at the bed liner stuff, but will that do it? Any tips?

Pick up a cheap floor mat from lowes. They work pretty well.

Thanks guys. I actually just ordered a strip of seadek that fits perfect for the bow area.
Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught.
Was I the only one expecting a YouTube video of a 14 footer with a 90 running 60 mph?
Looking for 21-24 bay or deep V boat

jonathan, A couple small cushions (throwable flotation devices) and a towel will go a LONG way for little money. But, if you have cash to spare… SeaDek it.
Neighbor bought some tan indoor outdoor turf lie carpet…cut to fit most of the floor area…pulls it out and hits in with the hose when he gets in…says it has helped a lot…think you can get that at lowes/ home depo/ walmart…we bought a couple of the cooler top cushions for our seats when we had our aluminum boat…Snap down type…but took them off when we were hauling so as not to lose them

Real nice people right out of Florence and the liner will be here tomorrow.

That’s what my friend has in his boat and it works great.
Three-fourths of the Earth’s surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.
Youtube … haha

Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.
