Today we started fishing on the 280 line and worked our way up to the 200 line, staying on the ledge. The seas were a bit sporty in the morning, but we had a following sea for a decent ride out. We caught one nice blackfin, two dolphins, a big king mackerel, and a bonita. We lost two rigs to wahoo cutoffs, as well. The hot lure for today was the pink Squitch with small ballyhoo. We had to leave early for home due to the charter being in a wedding. The seas smoothed out for the ride home and we were back at 3:00 pm. A good shakedown cruise for our first trip of the season.
