On Friday we started fishing on the 280 line on the ledge. Nothing was happening there so we pushed out to 300 feet of water. The dolphins started biting as we got into 75.3 degree water between 300-400 feet. Trolled south all day down to the 450 line to get a better ride home, as the winds were brisk all day from the south-southwest. Along the way we hooked a blue marlin on the flat line, but threw the hook after a minute or so. We ended up catching 21 nice-sized dolphins. Our hot bait for the day was the Lehi bleeding dolphin Squitch with medium ballyhoo.
