Hot Shot report for 6-1-10

On Tuesday we headed out into a confused ocean, but took our time and started at the Outcrop on the 270 line. We put a few dolphins in the box then headed out deeper. We went out to 400 feet of water, but no bites, so we headed south. We ended up finding a nice bunch of dolphins on the 400 line in 300 feet of water. We ended the day with 18 dolphins, most of which were the nice 25 lb. gaffers we have been waiting for. The storms passed and we had a great ride home.

nice job captain. We went out hoping to find some mahi in a much smaller boat and were surprised how much our forecast was inaccurate. We couldnt make enough speed in the 4 ft chop so we fished the charleston 60 and then around the end of the shipping channel. Nothing but some barracudas to show for it grrrrr.
