On Thursday we started on the 450 line on the ledge. The ocean was pretty flat, with just a small swell. We caught a small dolphin on a naked bait, then worked out deeper. We ended up finding some bait in 320 feet of water on the 500 line. We caught two sails, two blackfins, and three dolphins around the bait. We had 7 or 8 more sailfish bites, but could not keep them glued on. It was nice to see the bft busting on the surface. They hit the Lehi Squitches with small ballyhoos on the long riggers. The sails hit all over the spread, nothing in particular. It looks as if the sailfish bite is starting to happen.
