Hot Shot report for 6-2-09

On Tuesday we fished a weed line/rip on the 470 line in 400 feet of water. The water was 78 degrees on one side and 81 degrees on the other. The dolphins were thick and we caught 18 before leaving it in hopes of finding something else. A blue marlin hit our flat line lure after we left the weed line. The fish was jumping and putting on a good show, but shook the hook. The water was flat calm for the ride home. Off for a few days before going back on Friday.

Good Job! You guys have been on a run.

Dick when you say the 470 line or 500 line would you please explain where those lines are in relation to a nautical chart? I am new to the offshore piloting but anxious to learn. Thanks.
