I am new to the area and about to purchase a couple yak’s. Been doing google searches for a yak club an it seems there are two of them. Is that right? LKA and SC Kayak Fishing Association. Or are they one in the same? Also, would my son and I be “banned” if we are lazy an put trolling motors on them?
The original SCKFA never really took root…however, the LKA is going strong. No problem with your trolling motors for casual use - but for our tournaments you’ll have to be paddle or pedal-powered.
