So my question is, how close in can you REASONABLY target Kings? I’m in a 19’ bay boat and would love to do it during the summer but wondering if it’s more than I can handle. Thanks!

In the grass, you can catch all the kings you want in a 19 ft bay boat. The shipping channel is usually full of them whenever you see the Spanish on top eating. Troll rapala magnums along the edges of the channel or anchor at the end of the jetties and live bait with menhaden on top. Nearshore and chas 60 has plenty too. Usually start seeing them close around june.
