I was surprised myself. I have been to bushy several times in the past and have never even had a bite. But today, I got some bites and even caught my first legal flattie. Ended the day with a small blue and a 15" flounder. Also, missed a bunch of fish and lost two more flounder yak side.

I just caught ladyfish…they were everywhere I went. Good meeting ya today…
I only fished at Bushy for a short time. Was getting a little frustrated not knowing the area. I went to another creek closer to my house and within a few minutes of being out there I was almost spooled by what I think was a big stingray. Fought it for 15 minutes or so and then it went right up into some oyster beds and they cut the leader. Buddy caught a nice red and his girlfriend caught a ladyfish. Nice flounder by the way and nice meeting ya.

Doesn’t sound too bad. I love catching ladyfish, good fun right there. Glad ya’ll at least hooked up. Nice meeting ya’ll also.
I caught 4 trout in the 12 to 13" range and something really big that made a couple runs and then cut the leader right at the hook so I think it was a shark about 4’
