How do you keep yours up?

Your boat cover that is! I’ve tried making pvc stands and posts and a number of things but for a smaller boat I have found that a simple anchor rope stretched from bow to motor over a seat holds the cover up nicely and doesn’t allow water to collect and fall in on the boat. Maybe some of you can relate

as to the boat cover issue… wait for a good rain and regroup and change as needed. for the other… God has been good to me and blessed me with loving wife… who helps with the boat cover.

Use the beach balls from Wally World.they cost about 3$ each

In all seriousness, you can buy an inflatable pool pillow used to hold up pool covers for around $10. I have one 4’ x 8’ that would work great.

I like the ideas of using inflatables, with the beach balls do you just put them in the seats? Wouldn’t it still droop in the middle?

I like the beach ball idea too. On my bay the console and rear jump seats hold the cover up pretty good, but the pole i use in the front is a PITA and has now torn a hole in the cover. I could tie 2 or 3 beach balls to the bow cleat to keep them from rolling off the casting deck and, viola…

Thanks Sharky!!

I am not woried so much about water on the floor of mine, just sun dry rot & leaves getting in it. I found my low spots after it rained & put in some grommets at the low spots for the rain to drain onto the floor & run out the boat drain hole.

I have a center console. For the front I use the bow line tied to the top of the grab bar on the console.
I have a bass boat style seat in the front. I pull it out an put it in the leaning post rod holder.
