he took hit after hit after hit in the LSU game. Don’t think its has to do with him getting “hit”. He does not shy away from contact when running the ball, ever. he lowers his shoulder.
He did great in the LSU game because nothing was on the line at that point. He has taken big hits in other games that we killed the opponent.
He screwed the pooch against FSU this year and USC each year because of the added pressure behind those games. (FSU game had national title implications & USC was his last chance to beat the rival)
having said that he is still a headcase with that regard. You don’t want to draft QB that falls apart in the playoff’s etc.

He sounds like the perfect QB for the Dallas Crackheads.
He does fold in big pressure games. Know that!! He has his records and I wish him well but, I’m glad he is moving on. That was almost as bad as keeping Parker! How’d that turn out? Time for some new blood at QB. There are several good ones waiting in the wings.
I too think he will go pro at a backup spot. How he does yet to be seen. If he can learn from someone good for a few, he may pan out. Dito what happens to a running QB in the pro’s. There you run smart or slide down or you get a complimentary ride on the limo golf cart!!! Dropping your shoulder would not be a good thing to try.
