How many Ford owners on CFC

My brain tells me to buy a Tundra. My heart still wants an F150 or a Silverado because they are purtier.

Mine’s a 2006 Tundra SR5, V6 (110,000 mi.). My wife drives a 2007 Camry (140,000 mi.) I don’t think I’d go with anything but a Toyota now that I’ve had this one. My previous truck was a '95 Dodge 1500 V6, 4 speed manual trans. At 76000 mi., the tranny took a dump. Just a 1000 mi. out of the warranty. Dodge wouldn’t do crap for me. After that, it seemed like I was working on it every month. Water pump, starter, oil pump and on & on. When I bought the Toyota, the Dodge had less miles on it than I have on the Tundra now, and I haven’t had a single issue with it. I did have to replace the U-joints last year.

2001 Ford Excursion 4x4, 7.3 diesel. 200,000 miles. When the engine wears out I will swap in a new one. Love my vehicle, but its rough on ball joints.

As far as small cars go. I’ve had a Camry, 2001 Mercedes Wagon, and now a 2007 Merc Diesel. No problems from any of them, and I put well over 100k on each.

My brother bought a new Ford Focus. In and out of the shop with tranny issues under warranty. Now has suspension problems, and the tranny is acting up again out of warranty. Complete junk and still making payments. Doesn’t matter where they are making them. i would stay away from domestic cars. I’d drive a Korean car before domestic.
