Any idea how to adjust controls on a 05 twin 150 yamaha 4 strokes.
hope it is not the cable! When i am running at 35oo Rpms’s (and lower) the Port throttle is 1" further forward than the other. Seems like there is a little play in it. At WOT both motors turn the same RPM’s (5400) and are perfectly aligned.
Everything back by the motor is all tight, so no play back there. Must be something up at the controls, took the dust cover off and then run into a metal cover. I am assuming there is all kinds of craziness going on under there. Will springs and parts just start shooting out if i get in there?
What should i do… besides take to a shop? I have no yamaha mechs, or any boat mechs for hours away.
