Pictures like that are easily taken with a screenshot of your smartphone and then edited with the basice picture software on the phone. Figuring out how to screenshot on your particular phone can be found thru google fairly easily.

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.

From a PC I open the Google earth image I want and hit the “PrtScn” button. Print screen. Then I open Photoshop and copy it and open the image there. Then you can print, draw, circle, edit or anything you want to do with it.

I think gail wins is looking for something like what I did in this post

I can’t recall exactly how I did it, but I did mention how its done a few replies down in that thread.
Google Earth may have changed a bit since then and I haven’t checked it to see if it works still. But it has to do with paths, somehow.

On my Droid tablets, there is a screen shot button. Then open in photo editor app. crop, resize, mark up etc. then save. Print screen should work also as Larry said. If you have MS office on a desk/ lap top, power point works pretty good too.

If you have Windows 7 it has a “snipping Tool” that you can take screen shots of specific areas of the screen.

Gail wins, I like to use the “snipping Tool” to save what screen shot you like. After saving it (remember where you saved it) right click and open with Paint. Draw, mess with it as you like and then save it to documents or desktop. easy as pie. The snipping tool comes on most new pc’s but you can down load it… for free I think?

Say you want to post a pic of a fish you caught but brush out the background or the face of a friend that wants to stay anonymous. Or add a moustache to your wife.
