CLICK FILE, OPEN

SELECT YOUR IMAGE AND CLICK OPEN

YOUR IMAGE WILL DISPLAY IN ITS ORIGINAL SIZE

CLICK RESIZE, THEN SELECT THE “PIXELS” BUTTON

CHANGE YOUR PICTURE TO 1024 HORIZONTAL, CLICK OK

YOUR IMAGE WILL DISPLAY IN ITS NEW SIZE

CLICK FILE, SAVE AS JPEG, AND SAVE YOUR IMAGE

Uploading pictures to your post is only available in the “REPLY TO TOPIC” section. Uploading pictures is not available in the “QUICK REPLY” section. THESE OPTIONS ARE LOCATED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FORUM SCREEN.

That drives me crazy. Those ginormous photos would fit on a 40" x 40" mural. It takes for ever for them to render on a forum.

800x600 is plenty big

Question …is posting of gigunda photos a consequence of posting them directly from smart phones?

Sometimes, yes. It depends on your phone. You need to resize to reasonable size pictures of else they will show up crazy big. 1000 wide or smaller is fine.
