After fishing the last couple weeks, I discovered a way to remove THAT smell from your hands. First wash them well, then scrub with Listerine ( I used the blue, don’t think it matters) Smell was gone. Couldn’t smell the catfish, bait or even the stink bait. Thought I would share. Maybe come in handy for someone. Have a good day, and good catching.
Wash ur hands with good soap and re-watch with lemon juice has always worked for me…have even just mixed soap and lemon juice at the same time
That’s a good tip, going to try that one. For me like Tiger said. I wash real good, then use a table spoon of kosher salt and squeeze a half of lemon into my hands and scour together. The salt acts as an abrasive and lemon acid works on it too. Repeat.It does work.

I got a much easier way!
Get some heavy duty pumice soap like the mechanics use. No, not go-jo… get the good stuff.
Snap-On sells the good stuff in small bottles and it works every time the first time. It costs a little more than go-jo but you use a lot less.

I don’t know how this works. Twenty years ago a machinist friend gave me a small chunk of titanium. Wash your hands with good soap then rub them with the titanium. No smell. Like I said, I got no idea how it works, but it does.

Bleach
Clorox wipes for a minute or so, and then wash with regular soap to get the clorox off.

I have seen bars of stainless steel sold for that,looks like a bar of soap. I use the lemon and salt.
