how's the harbor look right now?

Can anyone report how the harbor is right now I wanna go out

Fished Wando this morning and it was smooth as glass. Got slightly windier on the way back to Remley’s around 930 but little to no chop at all. Lots of active redfish this morning too, get out there.

It looks like a milkshake.

call me, we’ll go out and put the first fish in the boat

I’ve fish the harbor about once a week this winter. had more luck there than anywhere else! It was artificials when it was colder but recently its been mostly cut bait. i’ve only been on the flats though. While i don’t always catch fish, I have always found (run over) reds.

Right after high tide I went out. Harbor was 2/3 ft. Boat did great for the third time out in it. Got up in elis creek. Hit my old dock… lost a grub tail off the rip. Fished there for a half hour. Nothing on frozen shrimp / mullet or mm. Went to one deep bank trolled for a while wind became steady and it was time to go. Zero fish but worked out one more kink. And cuz first fish was a rock sea bass about last week went Saturday windy to and got a ray. Its a start

Isn’t Ellis Creek rather shallow on entry ??

Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.

yes the shallow flats in front of ellis creek go almost all the way to the dnr and down to plum island. however thier is a channel going into ellis creek that is like 2 feet deeper than the other spots. i belive it is a little off center towards the left going into the creek and you can find it by lining your boat up with the yellow roof house(is it the yellow roof or the red roof follybeachpeanutguy?)and thats the channel, lotta great fish in that creek hurricane

Trim up and run. We ran our 23 ft threw there all the time when lived in there. No problem. Just line up with the mouth. The first half of the creek is where the fish hold now do to all the ugly new docks that cut away the beautiful tree line in the back part

Won’t be much going on in Ellis Creek until some bait show up, I check it frequently.
