Conditions were sportier than called for but ran to the ledge and 200ft. of water. Trolled for couple hours. Bonita right off the bat then 2 big hits on planers resulting in short fights and disconnections. Crew seemed to think they were 'Hoos. Ran back to Y73 to practice turning the boat in tight circles. Managed a few drops but nothing to shout about. Water temps still in upper 60s everywhere we went. Great crew, excellent fishing, just poor catching. Was good just to finally be “out there”.

Thanks for the update. We had a similar trip but luckily our knock down stayed connected. Hook was barely in it.
Which boat did you take out? The Scarborough?

We did about the same hoymark except our bottom fishing after the troll was pretty hot. We had one on for about 30 seconds. Not sure what it was. We did find 70.99 degree water in about 280’ with a good area of broken weeds. That’s where we had the one hit.

Jordanonayak,
Yes the Scarborough. Would have been even sportier on the Seacraft, but that Potter hull cuts a mean path thru the water.
