The club is located in Ridgeville between 17A and 61 by the Mead Westvaco tree farm across from Clubhouse Rd.

Rumor mill has it Mead/Westvaco is ready to start rolling on the East Edisto project. That should be a bummer for hunt clubs in that area. A bunch of logging slated to be done this year in that area.
You sure your talking about Ridgeville? Cause Ridgeville isn’t in the location you gave. That’s more Slandsville, Beech Hill or Sand Hill. Not being a smart ass but stating a fact.

I’ve got a mailing address for the nursery near Clubhouse road on 17a as Summerville 29483. I was under the impression that Ridgeville would have started after going through Givans? And yes there is currently logging all around clubhouse road, Summers Drive, behind the Nursery, and the old Beach Hill Mill and lay down yard with more to be done in that area. I think maybe we are talking about different areas? Only about 4 1/2 months to go, need to put a little more in the freezer this year. Only one back strap and about 6lbs of hamburger left.
I wasn’t trying to scare any potential members by mentioning the logging, heck sometimes it’s a plus for hunters. I sure doesn’t scare them away.
What are you offering for fishing only?

Bolbie, if that was directed at me I understand the price for fishing only. What kind of fishing is being offered? I’ve got more areas than I could possibly fish, but I have a co-working that is looking for something for him and his son.
It has been logging going on for years and there is no acceleration of logging in that area. It may just seem so. The address of the Beech Hill “nursery” across from Clubhouse Road is,

I believe his club is across 17A from where you are thinking, on the east side of 17A there is a ton of logging going on that won’t be replinished due to the development coming to that area that will be phased in over the next 15 years… on the west side, where the tree farm area is, it isn’t going to be touched anytime soon…
the plans are public, you can google them… from 17A all the way to West Ashley it’s all coming down to be developed, but over many years…
I hunted Sandhill for years, it’s right across the river on the colleton side… but everything on the other side of the river straight into Charleston will be developed over the next couple of decades, and from what I’ve seen and been told they are NOT replanting as they log
