Considering the wind and temp. , fishing wasn’t bad. Picked up 4 flounder 13-18", 7 1/2 trout 15-19". 1 trout was caught on minnow, 1 almost on electric chicken. All other fish landed were hooked on gulp/pink minnow (thanks to beerbuzz). Seemed to bite better on incoming/ hightide.
Last day fishing had a double hookup and went for the gulp rod, lost the other fish. As I was reeling in trout, big fish, prob. 4ft. shark, stole my dinner within 10 ft. of me.
Good to see you Yak, hopefully I’ll get down there for some cobia fishing soon.

great report, so seemings it will be warmer this weekend the bite should be pretty good then, did you catch the flounder on the pink gulp?

Wow! Never seen a shark in there… Interesting… Close to the mouth? From the size of the bite, I suspect closer to 5’ shark, BTW…

Looks like the weekend of the 14th will be a go for Cobia…

Yak, think about it…I’ve seen him out there before. I think he’s blaming a shark when actually he just needed a snack.

His mouth is large enough to have taken such a chomp from that fish. :smiley:

Cutmullet, may I suggest some Wasabi next time, to add a little flavor to that field expedient Sushi! :stuck_out_tongue:
