are there any campsites right on the lagoon or is it just the cabins? Also does that lagoon empty out at low tide?

No campsites on lagoon and it holds water at lowtide. There is really only a couple cabins on lagoon and they are pricey. If you go to reserveamerica.com and search for Hunting island, you can reserve campsites with a credit card.
picked up site 65 for just friday night. let me know if any one needs a extra spot.

last i heard he was fishing at murray .2 WEEKS AGO. I hope a big fish didnt pull him under
how is the paddle out through the lagoon towards the fishing pier on that river? Just wondering about currents and tides nearby… My dad might join the kayaking fun, but does not fish as much…(Don’t want him to get too bored taking pics of us dragging in the fish:smiley:)

Its really dependent on the weather, Good paddle/bad. Time it with the tides, it should be nicer for him.

Im 6 1 1/2. its a 9ft otter xt sitin it worked for me for 2 years it can hold 3 rods and (230lbs?) if you want me to bring it. JUST BRING A LIFE JACKET It’s got to be better than fishing from the shore
