Last year I found some nice, deep holes not far from the landing that held shrimp. NADA on the fish though.
what part of the island will you be fishing. the lagoon is a good spot if you have a kayak. The beach will catch you what most place will in the surf. Stingrays, shark, whiting, the occasional black or red drum.
have had luck with the reds, fishing the groins on the beach.
