Hunting Island Lagoon

100% passable at low tide?

Its been a while, but seems like there has been a time or 2 at extreme low tides that I had to get out for a bit in the middle area. Its good hard bottom thou.

I have only fished there once and the only place I could see there being an issue is about a third of the way down from the parking area.

“The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad.” </font id=“size2”>

Thanks guys. Hard bottom is the key…

I have walked soft bottom before, the hell with that …

Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.

Today it was 100% passable if you really chose your path. I could easily see how on the right day/North wind you could do some dragging.

Second that Hurricane!

We’re stuck between Barack and a hard place. Hide their food stamps under their working boots.

Manta Ray 14’

Its 100 % passable…Stay more to the parking lot side of the lagoon, the beach house side is extremely shallow…

yeah - we made it through just fine. There was some VERY skinny spots but I’m 240lbs in a manta ray and never had to drag it.
