Hunting lease

Looking to lease 10k to 20k acres of land to hunt next season. Would like to have some convinenses like electricity , water and would be nice if the property has lodging . Anywhere East if I 77 & I 20. A mix of ag land and forest will be nice

Did you really mean 10,000-20,000 acres

Hunting, fishing, and poker are my sports. Work when necessary.

Yes , and thanks for responding . Enough for 5-7 hunters

Still hunting only

Now that’s what I call a hunting club.Good luck, but at 10.00 dollars an acre, which is the usual price, that means 5 fellas would have to pony up 20,000.00 each a year for 10k acres.I wish I had that kind of money. You could definitely do some trophy management on a place like that.

The man that wants this has no issue with money. He purchased 30 of these from me for a huge property next to Grandfather Mountain in NC

I use to belong to a club that had 8000acres in Jacksonbore and it was parceled into 100 acre sections. We would check in at cabin and put a pin in the 100 A section we were hunting to insure that nobody got shot. I don’t remember how many members we had, but it must have been at least 20

Hunting, fishing, and poker are my sports. Work when necessary.

Good luck Natureboy, that’s gonna be a tough one.

People with that kind of coin don’t lease land they buy it. But this is the internet so if you want to search for 20k acre tracts to lease I guess you can do it…

And, they buy it in states with better deer hunting than SC…

And you know a thing or two about trolling.

Sounds like natureboy lucked up,he might get to be the caretaker of the club. I would definitely do the same thing if I were in nb’s shoes, hope he finds a place.

He’s probably putting corn out in the Francis Marion, he will be back shortly.

Haha,you’re probably right.

SC has everything a deer hunter could want. Longest season in the USA, longest shooting hours, lots of agriculture, lots of deer. That’s why our lease rates are so expensive

And yes I have been offered a very nice package if I can swing this

Agreed, except one thing… When the rich folks come in they want trophy bucks not runts, and SC doesn’t have nearly the trophy population as many others state. Lots of smaller ones for sure.

I own 2 pine tree farms in the CRP program in Horry county. My caretaker and his family get to hunt for free…
