Just letting all my buddies on here know i was thinking about yall and hope you guys are safe down in Charleston and surrounding areas. I was down on vacation since last Thursday but had to evacuate Labor Day morning. 6 hours in traffic going back to Greenville. Sadly to say my close friend girl stay in Abaco, Bahamas and lost almost everything. She is finally being united with her family. She said its bodies all over the road on her island. Many people are trapped under there homes and many people are dead under there homes and other buildings. She told me today they are doing an evacuation of her island to clean up all the bodies laying around. Everyone be happy we all are safe over here and didnt have to go through what they just experienced.
Yes, we have a lot to be thankful for here. The situation down in Abacos and Grand Bahama is an unbelievable tragedy. I pray for all those people. I want to give to a charity to help them. I remember the Red Cross having target charities. I think they had one for Katrina. That is what I am waiting for something sponsored by the Red Cross. In the mean time my prayers are going out to them. Tell your friend we are all glad she is safe.

Terrible what they experienced over there. If anyone has any other places to donate, this could be a good place to list them up.
I’ve heard of a few local guys putting trips together to bring supplies or to help out. I know one group organized a drive to collect things to bring over there.
You can drop off canned goods, new socks and underwear, diapers, toiletries, etc. at the following locations by Friday (they are making the trip down Saturday):
