14’ Skiff-“Redfish Reaper”
Cerakote is an ceramic baked on finish, hydro dipping is a water film transfer to the metal, and Duracoat is an epoxy based finish. Duracoate is the easiest and cheapest option and can be done at home with a little prep and care. Cerakote is the most durable but is expensive. Hydro Dipping is expensive but it looks dang good when it’s done and is pretty tough.

I think I plan on dipping it. Liquid Mirage in moncks corner is running a 175$ special now. Full draw in West Trashy is asking 200$. Probably get in done in shadowgrass blades. My only qualm is how it’d look in the turkey woods…

if a turkey was close enough to see that you have sawgrass camo, you have waited too long to shoot. People have killed turkeys with non-camo’d guns for over a century, imo, dipping is a waste of money, but to each thier own

Do you personalize your car? Boat? Home? Fishing gear? ETC? Same difference with a gun, it may not be needed but maybe ii’s a personal choice. Iron sights work on a rifle too but most people opt to put a scope on them these days, choices there are endless.

ive sent two of my shot guns to camo solutions in arkansas!!! they do a (**() good job for right around $190 ive been very happy with them, ive had my benelli dipped for 3 years now and my frnachi for 2 years only scratches on the guns are my fault. and they gave me a 20% discount on the second gun for being a repeat customer

i had tnt do a benelli of mine (hydrodipped) and east coast did a stoeger in cerakote. for the money i would reccommend the cerakote
knew a guy that had his gun done there and he was very happy with it shipping was like $15. driving to moncks corner twice from james island is more expensive
