I am going to order some fiberglass poles from max-gain for shallow water anchors. I don’t know the web link rules so I will just say to google max-gain systems. It is 28 bucks for shipping up to 70lbs. I will hold off placing the order to see if anybody wants to go in on the order to save on shipping. Let me know. On sept 14th I will place the order.
Personally, I am going to get the “all in” system. It has a 8ft, 4ft, 2ft, and a handle on a 6" link, plus the couplers. This will allow me to choose what to anchor with. I am going to order 2 sets. This way I will have tons of fiberglass
I will check every other day or so to see if anybody is interested.
May want to look into Titan Fiberglass who is a sponsor of this site. They seem to have a good product.
I did, as I prefer to support local, but the web site only mentions an 8 ft. I like the max-gain becuause it is modular, an 8ft, 4ft, 2ft and I can put it together any way I want. My true goal it to see if I would like a talon or power pole (probably talon). This is a cheap try before I jump into a 2k powered device. 2 of them for about $260 I can afford to not work, break, etc. A talon or power pole for 2k that doesn’t work for me is not small change.
Titan can do more then just what his site shows. Shoot them an email with what you are looking for. I bought 3 from him and have no complaints so far.
Oh really, I will do that. Thanks for the advice…

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.
