Nope, not gonna even ask about fishin,honey holes or how to. I just want to know if anybody wants to give me thier honey. Mine has gotten kinda sour after 27 years and I was thinkin bout losing her somewhere? Maybe take her out for oysters and leave on a bank somewhere. Don’t have to worry bout you guys bringing her back. The way she’ll be fussing ya’ll would drive on by. Some of ya’ll probably know it but I would trade my sheeps dock for a hony that hasn’t turned sour yet.

TAZ,that is just it.I’m the one makin the changes.gave up smokin 18yrs ago,gave up drinkin with the exception of the occasional beer whih might be 1 or 2 a month about the same time.Go to work,come home 5 days a week. Cut grass on the weekends and yet I need to find a second job.Say something about going fishin with neighbor or 1 of our kids and you’d think somebody wrecked her car.
He0gul,she would read this if she was dying. She doesn’t like to fish and hates hunting. When we got married she would fish and crab. Things started slipping after the kids were born. She has already tried to give away my KW1720 and fishing gear.I just smile and shake my head. After her heart surgury Penny touched her hand and said something bout quitting smokin and she could have killed with the look she gave all of us.

Donnie came home yesterday and found me on the back deck making bait balls…the deck and I were a mess…at first I could tell he was a little ticked…I still after all these years tend to forget Im not in the country where this would be totally acceptable:wink:…so after I got the “mess/smell/and flies” lecture… I said "ok honey…and I mentioned i had made him some lunch and it was on the stove…and he laughed …shook his head and walked off…even brought me back a glass of tea:smiley: I think he gave up on changing me years ago…lol

I’ll give you some just don’t pollute the river ,but not the responces like this. It was kinda like ok,you don’t give information on fishing so let me trick you. However I do thank all of you for your kindness and concerns. Penn, I don’t expect anyone to change but on the other han I don’t think a person should be expected to just go to work and stay home all the time when not at work. I know I’m not perfect but am a man. Not some animal you have to keep control of or it’ll run off. I’m sorry if I led ya’ll into reading more outa this than expected.
cc…wasnt giving you a hard time…in fact was trying to say…“she knew how you were whe she married you”…and lets be honest guys/girls…usually when dating and going into a marriage…its about as good as it gets…dont know about ya’ll but after a while it seems ones’ guard drops and we tend to lapse into our “reqular” ways…you know…ok…now I dont have to work so hard to impress ;)…there have been things I wanted to change about donnie. :).you know…like smoking…to stop because I wanted him, and me around for a while, the old…putting the toilet seat down…yeah I know…why shouldnt we have to “put it up” for ya’ll…and " please dont groan so loudly and get that look on your face" when I want to go in the creek…“again”…and cc …I have many faults…like making bait balls on the deck,mending cast nets and rigging stuff in the living room, not cleaning as much as I should…and can be a “little *****y” at times…yes…I admit it…and will I ever change…probablly not…but I do make a effort sometimes…for a few minutes anyway :)…but long and short…we all have to give and take a little I guess…and it seems you are giving a lot and after 27 years she should realize it, and hopefully she will…hang in there…
