I got 2 sticks of 6" white LED lights and 1 10" red LED light. I’m going to put the red LED on the T-top and run it to a switch and the T-top box breaker bar.
But the 2 6" white LED’s. I’m going to put them in the transom over the batteries. The boat has a lot of space back there and it’s dark when trying to work on stuff/ I have a battery on the starboard and a battery on the port under hatches. The trim tab motor is on the starboard side, the fuel filter is on the port side.
I’m trying to decide how to wire them…Should I hook them up to each separate battery with a switch per light, or struggle and figure out a way to run wire back up the the console and hook them up to a console switch.
What makes more sense? Easy and not so OCD and a bit tacky, or really go OCD and buy wire, snake it to the console and hook it them to a console switch (which will be a PITA)?
