Stopped at McDonalds for 2 coffees last weekend. I was traveling and didn’t know the sales tax rate, but I expected it to cost a little over $2. She rang me up for $1.30-something. I asked, “Why so cheap”? She said, “I gave you the senior discount.” Stopped at Kroger to pick up a few items on Wednesday, and got the senior discount again without asking.
Talk about a mixed blessing. I like saving money, but I’m only 54 and I look like I’m just over 25 . And I am so cool that the wind doesn’t even blow on me. We’re talking hip, dude. Maybe it’s time for some Just for Men.
