My fiance, 11 month old son, and I up rooted from Murfreesboro, TN to move closer to family. We fell in love with the area. I grew up in TN lived there all my life til now. I spent as much time as I could on the rivers and lakes. Since moving here I realize the fishing here is a whole different ballgame. A lot different than the catfish and bass of TN. I don’t own a boat, I’m stuck on the bank. So, if you have any tips or tricks let me know. I look foward to your advice. And look forward to catching my first red one day. I only have a freshwater license for now and the closest water to me is Jessen Park.
Welcome to the area, sure your first Red will come soon enough, we have an abundance of them, start out in our pier areas, go ahead and get your salt water license as you will need it unless fishing from one of the county piers
