Ran to south jetty. 2 minutes after drifting and Bam…doormat. While drifting I notice a half menhaden float up by the bow still kicking and I grabbed the net and scooped it up. something big sliced it…severed. I scooped it out of the water and put it on my hook and bam…nice trout. But the flounder were all caught on live pinfish and croakers. Best flounder in 6 years. Drifting the south jetty and bottom bouncing is fun. I am looking to get offshore/near shore more and need some pointers. I’d love to join a fishing club.
