I have a new 50 hp Yamaha motor that i need a boat and trailer for. I installed it on a J16 but it is a little heavy for it. If you have something or know someone with one to sell please let me know.

I ran a 50 yam on my J16 for years with no problem! You must have a heaver 4 stroke.

Depending on how my new boat configuration ends up, I may have my 17’ boat and trailer for sale. It’s a 2007 rolled gunnel v hull that is pretty skinny and light for a 17’ picture your boat, but a v hull with 70 4 stroke, 90 2 stroke max rating.
It would come with hydro steering, CC w/ windshield, leaning post, rear bench seat, large live well, rails, Bimini, and a forward console seat.

I had the same problem. I have a 40 E’rude till that needed a transom to hang on.
I picked a 13ft whaler for cheap. With a running 30 Johnson.
Still stuck with an extra motor. I hate when life gives you lemons.

got it from Hayse marine in evans Ga.They had bought it for a pontoon and when the guy took delivery he decided he wanted a bigger motor. Motor is a new 2012 model never been on boat. It was a great price but unfortunately a little heavy for this boat. I put the 12 gallon gas tank and trolling motor battery in front but it still sits heavy in the water.
