WOW Thanks to everyone who responded. I know offers for rods to cover the Troop and I got info on 3 Eagles.

Troop 737 will have fly rods in the trailer from now on.

I was asking for fly rods for my Scouts. I’m teaching fly fishing to the troop this weekend. At this point I have 4 promised for donation plus my 3. If you have a beater fly rod you’d like to donate to the troop, shoot me an e-mail or PM.

Too busy-

If you need someone to help with survival skills and how to live in the woods/water, let me know. I taught that stuff at Charleston for 3 years prior to this deployment. i mentor our church group kids with that kind of stuff as well as scouts. everything from what to eat to shelter, combat first aid, etc.

Thanks again everyone. The Scouts took to fly casting like ducks to water. No fish to be found at Moultrie, but that’s fishing.

SBS I’ll keep you in mind. We have mostly younger Scouts that will need to earn Wilderness Survival.
