I couldnt get the body to work out for the crab tying in the fibers (beginner here) and said f-it do something custom.

tied a few and went back to the books.

THAT is a sweet looking fly. I’d move the “eyes” forward to the head, and you’d have a jam-up weed guard! Great looking fly, very nicely done.
